Erection

The 12 year old in side of me is saying ‘hehehe’. First on our Sex term list is Erection. An erection is when the male penis becomes firm, enlarged, and engorged due sexual arousal.

The whole process of a male having an erection is from the brain. The brain senses something felt, smelt, saw, thought, or heard that makes a males nerves send chemical messages through the body to the blood vessels of the penis. Arteries relax and open to let blood in whilst the veins close, therefore making an erection.

Ejaculation

One of the next steps from an erection is an ejaculation.

When aroused from an erection, men hit a ‘climax’ which in basic terms sends sperm (semen) from the base of the penis out through the penis.

Erotic

The word erotic can be a description that is intended to make you feel sexually excited.

If we have something to say, we think the word is brilliant and describes a lot of our toys. Wink wink, hint hint.

Emergency Contraception

Okay, so we know this is not a really exciting swinging position or anything! But it is still important

The emergency contraception is a method of preventing pregnancy. Also known as the morning pill, girls within the UK can access this from the NHS.

Erotology

Yes we know, it may sound like the last option you can take as an A-Level. But actually Erotology is the study of love and behaviour. This specifically looks at peoples sexual behaviours and erotic stimulation.

Erotomania

Sticking on the Eroto words, erotomania is a noun for excessive sexual desire. It is classed as a rare mental condition where someone is completely fixated on the idea of someone being intensely and passionately in love with them.

One of the main triggers of erotomania is stress from losing a relationship whether it be a close friend or a boyfriend/girlfriend.

Exibeeshes

Lol we had to check this one twice but apparently it is a word! Exibeeshes was a term used in the American 1960s for sex-shows that are either live or on a film.

Have to admit, we have had a lot to fun just trying to pronounce this word in general.

Exoletus

Apparently, in ancient Rome, the term Exoletus was used to describe a rough and hairy man that is a prostitute. If you needed to know the plural version of this word, its exolete.

Esurient

This was a new word for us to. Esurient is a word used to describe a person who prefers to have oral intercourse than any other sexual activity. Most common terms used that is similar to this word is eating.

Erotocrat

Our final word for this blog is Erotocrat. At first glance, it may seem like a play on words mix of erotic and aristocrats, but it isn’t exactly. Erotocrat is a male that has a great sexual power and effect over a female. The modern word for this term is ‘ladies man’.
